Dr. Samaan received his fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City, and has performed his duties as a resident in both University Hospitals (Case Western Medical Center) and Rainbow Babies Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked in internal medicine and pediatrics.
Displaying the qualities of outstanding professionalism and humanism, Dr. Samaan has actively been involved in medical research in many remote parts of the globe, spanning across four continents. He continues to be an active member of research groups, and is a frequent visitor to parts of South America, Middle East and Africa.
Dr. Samaan has authored medical articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the Texas Heart Journal. He does provide excellent care for both arterial and venous diseases including the new and innovative clarivein procedure, which is an outpatient treatment for chronic venous insufficiency.
Having been competitive throughout childhood and even in college, he never misses an opportunity to go swimming, biking or running (he’s participated in three marathons). Reading and travelling to new places also remain his favorite pastimes.
Dr Samaan is married and lives in the San Fernando Valley with his wife Gloria.
